Catherine’s journey into healthcare began with over two years as a certified nursing assistant in the emergency room, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of patient care. This invaluable experience laid the foundation for her transition to becoming a Physician Assistant, specializing in spine care.

A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina (Go Tarheels), Catherine brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to VSI patients. Her commitment to excellence is evident not only in her professional achievements but also in her personal pursuits. Catherine completed her first marathon at the Marine Corps Marathon, showcasing her determination and dedication.

Outside of the operating room, Catherine is an avid adventurer who loves exploring new hobbies. Her most recent passion is CrossFit and yoga, embodying her commitment to an active and healthy lifestyle. Whether she’s scaling mountains, participating in outdoor activities, or jet-setting to new destinations, Catherine thrives on the excitement of life.

In her role as a Surgical Physician Assistant, Catherine goes beyond the technical aspects of her job. She is known for her compassionate approach, lending a listening ear to her patients and providing support throughout their journey. Catherine guides her patients through decision-making, answers their questions with empathy, and ensures they feel empowered every step of the way.
