Khadija Kane
Khadija holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University, where she gained invaluable knowledge and experience in sports and orthopedics. She is motivated to empower her patients to a better quality of life and improvements in their movement experience. While it can be hard to differentiate between sources of pain, the reward of helping one more individual is well worth it. Khadija is intrigued by the spine and the neurological ramifications that happen distally, especially how segmental dysfunctions may impact the foot, hip, and shoulder. She approaches each case with a collaborative outlook to provide an individual and comprehensive plan for each patient.
Growing up, Khadija was very active and involved in track and field, cycling, street skating on rollerblades, and cross country running. It is the combination of a love for science, an active upbringing, and a desire to empower people towards better health that led Khadija to physical therapy.
Khadija embodies a mindset reflecting that “there is always a way” as she is inspired in the relentless pursuit of solutions, especially for her patients. An inspiring figure who drives her to persevere is her grandfather. His legacy of service and heart for people is still palpable in his community and remains an inspiration for her future.
In her free time, Khadija likes to read, reflect, workout, and connect with family and friends across the globe. She also fosters an adventurous spirit through her recent travels to Berlin, Köln, and Hamburg. One thing on her bucket list is learning to free dive and seeing the great barrier reef in Australia.
