As Seen On ABC7 News Salutes: Veteran And Artist Sharing Journey Through Spine Surgery
Victor is an Army veteran and graphic designer/artist. After doing eight years in the military, and two tours of duty in the Middle East, he was left with back pain so debilitating he couldn’t work or paint.
When he finally reached out for help at VSI, he learned he was close to becoming paralyzed. Dr. Jazini was able to perform a fusion surgery for Victor’s neck, which alleviated the spinal cord compression he was diagnosed with.
Since his spinal fusion surgery, he is back to painting and working as a graphic designer. He also now advocates for veterans to take back pain seriously and seek help – rather than pushing through it and living with the pain.
